Senior Designer
Blue Mine Group was founded in 2002 by the CEO of Conneq, Inc. Having been employed by Conneq I was one of two people brought over to help grow and maintain the new company. Having been with Blue Mine Group since it was founded, I have played an integral part in it's growth. I conceptualized the company's name as well as it's design style; of which has played a large part in the success of this company. After fine tuning the business plan and it's offerings, Blue Mine Group has now formulated a solid set of offerings mainly directed at marketing emerging technologies.

My duties include:

• Meet with clients to discuss design direction and feasibility
• Meet with Account Managers to discuss project deliverables
• Scope project time requirements
• Concept projects for internal teams and for client review
• Take projects from concept (photoshop look and feel) to final deliverable (fully functional website)
• Use flash animation where appropriate
• Update and maintain all our client websites as needed
• Design and build HTML email campaigns
• Design micro-sites for client seminars or discussion forums
• Instill an appropriate level of design for corporate and client projects

Lead Designer
In 2000 I was recruited from Earnware Corporation (below) by Conneq's Creative Director at the time. I was brought aboard for my design eye as well as my ability to concept projects, build them quickly and keep a high quality. I was a member of a 4 person design team. Conneq was a typical San Diego web design firm which focused mainly on selling high-end websites to an array of clients. With the end of the dot com era, came the end of a need for web-only design firms. Firms needed to change their offerings to account for the industry's evolving needs, hence Conneq became Blue Mine Group.

My duties included:

• Team collaboration
• Take projects from concept to completion
• Update and maintain all our client websites as needed
• Design client collateral
• Establish corporate design style

Senior Graphic Designer
After graduating college I began working for Earnware as their corporate designer. As my skills grew Earnware began to sell website design services as well as provide their core service of web-based contact management systems. While here I fine-tuned my HTML and web layout skills.

My duties included:

• Lead a group of 5 designers
• Designed websites and interactive media presentations
• Established Earnware's corporate identity which is still being used today

Assistant Editor
I was brought in at the beginning stages of this progressive niche magazine. Working as assistant editor I leaned and dealt with the many aspects of publishing a four color magazine. While working here I began to see a passion for design and layout which prompted me to pursue a degree in the field.
